Network focus: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
>> Video: Making the SDGs real and rewarding to West Australians: See how Western Australians are planning to implement the SDGs in their state, as part of a workshop hosted by Curtin University in partnership with SDSN Australia/Pacific.
>> Global SDSN has launched a public consultation on an initial country-level SDG Index and Dashboard that measures SDG achievement across the 17 SDGs using data available today. Comments can be submitted online until 31 March 2016.

>> The Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) has released From policy to action: Australian aid and the SDGs. The report reviews existing Australian aid policies and programs against the SDGs and sets out how Australia can scale up efforts towards them.

>> SDSN has just released the 2016 update of the World Happiness Report, a landmark survey of the state of global happiness. A key focus this year is on the inequality of happiness within and among countries around the world.
>> Call for abstracts: The 4th International Conference on Sustainable Development, SDSN’s annual global gathering, will take place on 21-22 September 2016 in New York. The theme this year is Moving Forward: The SDGs in Practice.
>> SDSNedu’s flagship online course The Age of Sustainable Development is now available as a free full-length on-demand offering, and can be accessed at any time throughout the year.
Opportunity: SDSN Youth Campus Coordinators
Talented and passionate students and young researchers from SDSN Member Institutions are invited to apply to become SDSN Youth Campus Coordinators, and help implement and initiate projects and campaigns around the SDGs on their campus. Applications close 15 April 2016.

>> Global Ideas is exploring the SDGs and how they relate to health in their Labs program. For the first session on 4 April in Melbourne they are exploring SDG 12 with a screening of Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story.
>> The University of Auckland Business School is holding its inaugural Sustainability Week on 4-8 April, with a range of events to engage students, staff, and the public in activities around the theme of sustainability.
>> On 16 March, University of Adelaide students from across all faculties launched the Adelaide Sustainability Association, the first student club in Australia focused on contributing towards the achievement of the SDGs.
